Question: Help with Birth control and pimples!!?
Ok so I was on birth control for about 2 years and 3 months ago i stopped!. Well i haven't gotten my period since and my forehead and back completely broke out!. Before I got on BC my skin was flawless and during BC I would get a small pimple once in a blue moon!. So my question is, is it normal to not get a period after stopping BC and is it normal for my skin to break out and will it ever be back to normal!? Oh and I have to add that the reason I even started BC was because I would have missed periods!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

I was on Diane birth control for about 6 years - i got pimples when on Levlen so they put me on Diane which helps with pimples!. I went off BC about 2 years ago and my body took ages to adjust!. I was only getting periods every 3 months or so - after a year it settled down to every 4 weeks again!. Your body can take a while to adjust back to normal again!. I also got major breakouts on my back which I'd never had - I was so embarassed by it!. I went to the Dr and he prescribed Differin cream to use on it!. That worked wonders and now I only get the odd pimple every now and then!. I still get pimples on my face though!. Best thing is to talk to your doctor or dermatologist for a solution!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
