Answers:
some of the things that i have noticed over the years ( i got my period when i was 10, i am now 21) is that i will get cramping as if im really hungry or i have to use the bathroom!. or if you ever get any pimples, i tend to get some a week or so before my period!. I will also get more tired and cranky along with some headaches!. this is not for every person and not everytime!. if youre worried, you can always buy thin "pantiliners" which arent pads like you would use when you have your period!. you wont notice it is there and youll be safe from some mishap!. i also kept a sweater or hoodie in my locker at school in CASE something happened, i could just tie it around my waist!. good luck hunny, its not fun but we all go through it!

edit- to the one that said 12 yr olds dont get breast tenderness, i beg to differ!. i was a full c cup at 12 and i certainly got tendernessWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some girls get stomach cramps, headaches, and tender breast when it's time for their period!. Others, get really sad for no reason at all!. The best way to avoid embarassing leaks, though, would be to wear a pad everyday until you know the right time of the month for your period to come!.

After that, each time that you get your period, write down the starting dates on the calendar!. Then count the days from the start of one period to the start of the next period (usually 21 to 30 days)!. For instance, if it starts on the 18th of this month and then on the 18th of next month, chances are it will start on the 18th of every month!. But you have to remember, some girls get their periods every 21 days and if it comes like this, it won't be on the same day each month!. It varies with each girl!.

I hope that I was helpful!. Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometime you might get crammpy before hand, or tender breasts, or spotty a little!.

I suggest keeping a calendar of when you have your period, what your flow is like and your symptoms all month!.!.!.cramps, moodiness, crying, bloating, tender breasts, headaches, skin break outs, excess gassiness, food cravings (salty, chocolate) !.!.!.it's all related!. I know it sounds like a lot, but if you track your other symptoms and get to know your cycles better, you might be able to tell when it's coming!. You won't have to do it forever!

At the VERY LEAST, keep track of days you bleed!. That way if you do start to have problems with irregularity, you will have everything in order to tell the doctor!. BUT DON'T WORRY!.!.!."problems" with irregularity are usually just "inconveniences"!.!.!.there is not usually anything "wrong" with being irregular!

In the mean time, always be prepared & don't wear white if you think you're due!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel emotional, moody, more tired than usual, crampy, sore breasts!.!.!. or generally out-of-sorts, then it is probably going to be very soon!. Whenever I feel like a situation is hopeless and I cannot cheer myself up, I know I am going to get it really soon (usually it is the next day! lol) Also, it might be helpful for you to track it on a calender!. You might be surprised, you might be more regular than you think!. It is not supposed to come on the same day every month, it is every 28 days!. Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you may get cramps or be kinda moody!. about possibly getting it in public if you are that worried it may be some time soon you can keep an extra pair of underwear in your purse or backpack in a section of its own so people don't accidentally see it!. also buy a package of pads i suggest the ones with wings and stayfree is one of the thinest ultra thins and they protect against leaks well!. just keep a pad in your purse or backpack with the underwear!. also you could wear panty liners which are very small pads and you can't tell you are even wearing them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not everyone gets cramps, and 12 year olds certainly are not plagued by tender breasts!. Mostly you just cannot know!. The best way is to keep a calendar and keep track of the time between the first day of your most recent period and when the next one SHOULD be!. At that time, carry extra underwear with you and whatever you are using (pads or tampons)!. Be prepared is the best advice until you do start to be more regular!. It is really embarrassing isn't it!? Try to hang in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes you can experience cramping and tender breasts!. But everyone is different, some girls don't experience any symptoms at all!. I would just be sure to be prepared and have a pad or tampon with you at all times!. If your really worried maybe wear a pantyliner so you won't have an embarassing leak!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, everyone is different!. Some people get cramps, get mood swings, or just feel tired and bloated!. Or, you may get a pimple or acne!. Other girls don't get any signs at all or don't notice cramps because they are so light!.As you get older, you may notice signs that your body does every time you are about to get your period!.

don't be embarrassed!. it happens!.!.
keep a calendar and on the day you start put a red dot on your calendar!.!.!.and 28 days after the red dot on your calendar!.!.you should start again!. It's ok if you are a few days ahead or a few days after the 28 days!.!. but it is every 28 days that it will start!.!.
you'll get the hang of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have premenstrual symptoms beforehand, but at your age, your period SHOULD be irregular!. If you don't get cramps, fatigue, bloating, etc, then there really isn't a way to control or tell when your period will come!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you willl probably start to get cramps a couple days be4!. i would start to wear pads or somthin when you start to get cramps just to make sure you dont leak!. or you can go to the bathroom a lot and check to make sureWww@Answer-Health@Com

it should come about every 28 days when it gets regular, just check yourself regularly and you should feel it coming on, sore breasts, cramps, yucky feeling all over!. You'll get used to it!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
