Question: How do you feel about getting your periods!?
I feel seriously disturbed every time I get mine!. I hate it, I feel really grossed out by the blood and I get soooo miserable too and completely lose my appetite!. But the worse thing by far is the bleeding coz I have such a fear of blood, especially my own makes me feel like I'm gonna faint sometimes to look at! I remember in high school some girls felt like this but I'm now nearly 23 and getting my period still really freaks me out!. Does anyone else feel like this, and what do you do to deal with it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could try talking to a doctor, or try birth control, it can really lighten your periods up so there wont be as much blood, and medicin like pamprin and midol really do work, they take away the bloated feeling and the back pain, and being bloated is one thing that can make you feel terrible and gross on your period!. Another thing is when your on your period shower more, like instead of everyday, shower in the morning and at night, that way you stay feeling clean!. I have a terrible periods, the blood doesnt freak me out that much because its my own blood, but i really freak out seeing any kind of blood so i know how you feel, thats all i can think think of, it sucks theres no way around it you get it every month pretty much for the next 30 years or so, so hopefully you find something to help you out!

I don't get so disturbed like you but I HATE IT with capital letters!. I always say I can't wait until it disappears forever!. My mother says I shouldn't say that because I will feel sorry when I get to that age, she is probably right, but because I will be older by then, not because of period itself!. It is such a pain, I wonder how it would be to have a free month, months, years walking and living free!. Men are so lucky!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it completely freaks me out too!. i hate it!. it's so yucky and inconvienent!. i got the depo jag just so i wouldn't get them but then it got worse so i was on the pill without a break for seven months!. I've just come of it and am having an awful time i can leave the house cos of cramps :(!. i guess we just have to live with it and be thankful we get them since some women don't and will never be able to have kids :(

I'm only 16 and have only had my period for 3 years so far, but it's never made me woozy!. It just gives me cramps and makes me moody and yell a lot!. Ha!. One of my friend's moms has your problem though!. She's in her 40s or something!. Don't have much to say, but pray that menopause comes soon, or you get pregnant so it stops for 9 months!. Ha!.

it used 2 make me feel like that but then when i went on the pill and it made my periods alot lighter!. that made me feel abit better as they are now lighter and shorter!. my only downfall is i have a higher sex drive wen im on but my boyfriend doesn't like doing it which makes me feel frustrated!. but to be honest i wouldn't want to either lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think the pill can stop your period coming for a while!. Just search questions about it on yahoo answers!. Also some people have said that you can get injections to stop your period from coming for a year!. But if you do this you cant get pregnant that year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
