Pregnant spotting=yeast infection?!

Question: Pregnant spotting=yeast infection!?
Im 23 weeks and 4 days pregnant!. I woke up today and noticed i was spotting (brown)!. i called my dr right away and went in!. They said i have a yeast infection which has caused the bleeding!. Im not a Dr but Im questioning all of this!.
I have a low laying placenta (which they know about) he actually did a swab down there to see if it was a yeast infection!. I thought they couldnt do that with a low lying placenta!? they gave me Gynazole which i would have to insert in me!. Im not allowed to have sex with the placenta laying low!. why would i be able to stick an applicator up me!? They did take blood today (im RH negative) so I know ill have to get a shot in a couple weeks!. I just dont think that all of this sounds right!? what if its something more severe and they are just going over this lightly!? or am i freaking out for no reason!?
I called the Drs office once i got home from getting the medicine and looked some things up online (i havent taken the medicine yet) Im supposed to get a callWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
A vaginal infection (such as a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis) can cause your cervix to become irritated or inflamed!. That can lead to spotting!. The color (brown) is just due to the blood coming in contact with the air!. The swab was fine because the doctor knows where to swab without putting you or the baby at risk!. The medication being inserted would be fine, too!. It is just one little push, not continuous thrusting!. It doesn't go deep, and it won't hurt you!.

If you are seriously concerned, talk to your doctor!. If you are not happy with your answers, you can always seek a second opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have heard of the suppositories for yeast infection, and the placing of a suppository is way different than having sex!. Surely you can understand the difference!? I have never known a yeast infection to cause bleeding tho!. Your low lying placenta has to be beyond the cervix!.!.!.!.and that is 5 1/2 in inside the vagina at least!. Now you have some info!.!.!.!.but the blood!.!.!.!.I am not too sure about!. I would call somewhere!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
