I just had a baby 8 months ago and I got the depo shot and while on the depo I bleed for 39 days depo lasts for three months!. I did not get another shot because of the bleeding and I also got bad no real bad cramps!. I couldn't even get out of bed!.
Mays period was fine kind of crampy but not bad but tis period has lasted 1 week stopped for 3 days and going on day 15 with those 3 in between somewhere!. I have real bad cramps and head aches body aches and real bad pain in the groin area and the bleeding his pretty heavy also!. Dose this sound like a big problem to you!? She I go to the er or wait for the doc apt on the 27th!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you really feel that something is wrong you should go to the doctor to put your mind at ease!. However I've taken the depo shot before and I also bled the entire 3 months!. I will never take it again!!.Anyway I realize that when I am on birth control, I never have painful periods!. When I got off two months ago, the first one was bad but not too bad!.This one that I am going through right now is 10 times worse, I have horrible groin and lower back pain!. I feel miserable with a headache!. I believe and Obgyn once told me that you bleed less and have easier periods when you are using birth control than when you are not!.

I would call your doctor set up an appointment and let them know what is going on and let them decide if you need to take a different birth control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
