Should I be worried about my period?!

Question: Should I be worried about my period!?
I am 15 and I have had my period for about a year now (several cycles)!. When I first got it, it was sooo light!. A pantiliner would be fine for like 3 hours!. Then I started to use tampons, and now it is so heavy! On my first two days super tampons last me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours!.
Then on my 3rd , supers last me about 4-5
and it gets lighter !.!.!. and lasts about a total of 6 days all together!.

Is my period too heavy!? I heard that people with heavy periods have tumors on their uterus! Should I be worried!? or do you think my period will get lighter as I get older!?

Oh- and my period isn't regular!. It usually comes about 6 weeks after the previous, but sometimes more and sometimes less!.

Thanks : )Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is normal! My tampons only last me 2-3 hrs on the first heavy day!. I'd only be concerned if you have heavy clots, which can be a sign of fibroids on your uterus!. It's not a tumor!
GL Hope this helps!! :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's normal!. Your body is still adjusting!.

The flow is normal for someone who has heavy periods!. Mine are the same!. Not everyone who has heavy flows has tumors!. It can be hereditary (with me it is)!. Six days are normal!. I go seven!.

Your period flow, once it gets settled, stays the same until you hit menopause; unless you go on the pill (it gets lighter)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heavy periods are pretty normal!.!.!.but if you are worried about the amount of blood you are losing and think it's not normal, then see your GYN!. But, most women experience heavy flows at the beginning of their cycle and it lightens up toward the end!. And since you are 15 and only on your period a year, you should expect to not be regular!.!. but that will change with time and age!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds pretty normal to me!. As you get older, your periods usually become heavier!. And just because you have heavy periods, it definitely DOES NOT mean you have a tumor or anything else wrong with your uterus!. If you are worried about how much you are bleeding you should see your doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's normal!. Your hormones are still raging, so this kind of thing will go on for a while until your body is really used to this!. Don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it;s normal, ur body is sort of trying to get into the habbit, then it will be regular eventuallyWww@Answer-Health@Com
