im 16 and hav (legally) had sexual intercourse about 4 times and before that inserted a tampon numerous times without any pain!.
now it's about a month since i last had sex and it's my period and I've noticed its painful to insert a tampon!.
i was wondering if it's
a) damage caused to the area due to stretching because of sex!?
b) http://dermnetnz!.org/site-age-specific/v!.!.!.
sounds serious :(
or c)
another infection of some sort!?
i'm on the pill if that helps!.

After my first sexual encounter tampons were weird for me!.
It didn't hurt very much it just wasn't as comfortable as it used to be!. Also, sex was painful up until about the 10th time for me thereafter!. I don't believe it is anything serious but it would be a good idea to head down to the clinic and have a doctor check you out!. GOOOOD LUCK :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

The vagina is designed so that it will stretch during childbirth so the pain has probably nothing to do with that unless your partner was really rough with you!. Chances are that you have inserted the tampon when your vagina has not been lubricated enough!. Alternately you could have an infection!.
