Question: Problems w/ Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo!?
I started OTC Lo about a month ago!. For side effects, the first week I had a little nausea w/ headaches!.Since the second wk,I have been crying at EVERYTHING my boyfriend says(if he says he's going out w/ his friends,I cry!.If he says he doesnt have time to hang out w/ me,I cry and think he wants to break up)Im supposed to go to the dr for a pill-check in august after 3 months, and I know that Im supposed to wait the 3 months and see what happens,but Im afraid that this isnt going to go away!And,I have also heard that OTC Lo isnt as effective as other BCs because it is a lower dose,which ALSO makes me want to switch (Ive read a lot of people getting pregnant on it and am TERRIFIED of this)!. But I am also afraid that if i DID switch, I would end up with something that would give me WORSE side effects than what I have now (even tho I've been weepy, no diminished sex drive, it seems to have helped my acne a little, and no spotting at ALL, which is something I was afraid of) What should I doWww@Answer-Health@Com

I use Ortho Tricyclen Lo and I HATE it!. As for its effectiveness--I works very well!. I've had no scares!. My first few months on it I was very emotional and weepy!. I was also VERY nauseous!. All these things should clear up over time!. Most of my symptoms are gone now (I've been taking it over a year)!. I am usually nauseous with the first pill of every pack!. I'd stick with it a while and see!. If you are still having a hard time, I'd switch!. Be wary, however, other pills may or may not be as effective and some (like regular Ortho-Tricyclen) will make your symptoms worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I just started it 2-3 weeks ago (over the years I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen and Depo), and I've gained 10 lbs, feel extremely bloated, and a little emotional!. Hopefully this is just a first pack problem and things will lighten up once my body adjusts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
iim on it! it was like that at first with me!. but it eventually chilled out!. stay on it girl! its the best birth control out there!. i been on it my 3 mths its worth it!. and it still delivers the same amount of pregnancy protection as others about 99!.7
