Ok well I am going on vacation on July 5th to July 12th and I haven't started my period but I have all of the symptoms that I should within the next month or so!. And on vacation I am staying on a cabin on the beach and I have some weird feeling that I might "start" their, so what should I do!? My mom said I shouldn'y buy any pads or tampons until I actually start so I cant buy some before I go, so what can I do if I get my period while I am their!? Should I just use my moms!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to take some with you just in case you start there!. If you do, use your mothers until you have a chance to get some of your own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Feeling you may start!? Can you describe how that feels!? Ovulation is approx two weeks before your period is due!. If you are feeling an impending period- Sore chest, tired, sickish, etc then you will prob start within the next week or so since those symptoms come from an ovulated egg releasing progesterone!. You should be done with that period before your vacation!.
If you are sure you are ovulating now, then by all means, get some tampons and pads!.
Besides, you should start carrying them around anyway, atleast one at all times!. If you do start you will have the one and then can get back ups if needed!.
ps!. never use yours moms unless worse case scenario!. Moms usually use the BJ's size tampons when you really probably will only need a thin one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You gotta love Mums' logic!. Take some pads and some tampons with you!. There is nothing worse than not having any on you when you start, plus you will feel more comfortable using what you are used to rather than your mothers (I know from experience, i use tampons, my mum uses Maxi pads which feels like your wearing a nappy)!. Start putting some pantie liners in your underwear to avoid any embarrassing situation which could occur if your not quite sure when it is coming!.

lol!.!.!.I just started mine today!. If you are really worried, ask another trusted adult, like an aunt, a grandmother, or even a teacher!. If this isnt possible, or if your mom would get too mad, just use toilet paper!. hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel that you may get your period while away then you should bring pads with you!. You may want to use panty liners as well which will prevent you from any embarassing moments around the campfire!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
