"I used to work at VS Beauty and I hated using this product on anyone, and I hated watching my coworkers use it and try to convince customers to buy it!. it really is pointless, and it never looked great!. like other reviews already noted, it does not plump at all!. it is supposedly "moisturizing" with avocado oils and vitamin B5 but I think that is some crock!. it isn't really smoothing, and it certainly isn't moisturizing enough to plump the lips, or at least plump up the lines in the lips, which is another thing they advertise that it does!. I did hypothesize that the color might give some "plumping" illusion, since it is very light, the color of light concealor!. but nobody's lips are that pale and colorless!. there was an associate at another mall who wore this as a lip color!. everybody laughed at her!. some customers liked the way it looked as a lip color!. made me cringe!. but maybe it wouldn't have been so bad on someone who is trying to tone down naturally fire engine red lips!. I guess it's useful as a lipstick base, but so is foundation or concealor!. and this stuff doesn't sink in like foundation, so it mixes with the color of lipsticks totally altering the shade and making them yucky and milky!. oh and this stuff emphasizes dryness and flakes and lines like nothing else!. so yeah, unless you have lineless super hydrated ruby red lips stay away from it!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
