Question: What are the chances!? Quick question!?
I've been on BC since mid April(sunday starter) and have taken it daily as prescribed since then(except I didn't take most of the sugar pills this past month since the pharmacist said that wouldn't cause any problems)!. I had unprotected sex 2 days after my period ended but was still taking the pills!. I know birth control is reliable but not 100%!. I guess I just want to know, besides the known 2% -6% failure rate, would the timing in which I had sex increase my chances of getting pregnant!? And yes, we're monogamous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The sugar pills are just to keep you on track with the routine of taking the pill daily!. You should always use two or more forms of protection due to the 2-6% failure rate, not to mention sexually transmitted diseases!. But, the timing in which you had sex should not matter if you are taking a pill that prevents you from releasing an egg!. No egg=no way to get pregnant!.
