I just shave a little on the sides and top to get rid of the hair that sticks out in swimsuits, but I really hate the razor bumps that come with shaving (they hurt so bad, even with lotion)
You could try other hair removal products, things like Nair are good for first time users, they won't leave razor bumps, but you also can't use them on the whole vagina and they won't get every hair, so you may have to tweeze a little!.
You could also wax, but again, you'll have to tweeze a little!. And waxing will hurt each time you pull a new strip, to best describe the pain, its like touching a hot pot (or iron) for a few seconds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Best advise I can give is not to shave at all, it is not good!.
I started out shaving coz I was embarrassed to go get it waxed and was also worried about the pain, but really, there is nothing better than a smooth waxed vagina!.
I love it, I don't have a vaginal odour at all and it's very tidy!.
The waxing doesn't even hurt anymore and you don't get itchy like you do when shaving!. You also don't get anywhere near as many ingrown hairs :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you just got started, consider waxing!. Eventually you will grow almost no hair, feels more comfortable, and you dont have to do it every day!.!.!.maybe once a month!. Specially if you want to get rid of everything!.

since you just started waxing may be a good idea, shaving can get very annoying when you do it jut about everyday! but I would definately recomend removing EVERYTHING down there!Www@Answer-Health@Com
