Your body is trying to regulate your hormones now that you have started your period!. So, your period will not be regular for a while!. You may notice one month you have a very heavy flow, the next you have a very light flow, and the next month you have no flow at all!. Within a year or two your hormones should be set`, so your period will start coming on a regular basis!.
This is completley normal, all girls go through this!. Just hang in there and wait a year or two!. But if your period is not regular within maybe 2 1/2- 3 years, you need to go see a doctor so you can see if maybe your hormones are going to take longer than others, or if you have a problem!. But I doubt you have a problem, because this is normal and you only got your period a few months ago!.

This is totally normal!. Your period could take a long time to regulate itself where you will have a predictable cycle!. I know someone who got their first period at 10, didn't have another until 11 and they didn't become once a month until 13!. You can get on birth control to regulate your period and prevent pregnancy if you are sexually active!. Do not rely on "getting your period" as an indicator of not being pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
