im not sure if i had my period!.!. all i know is that ive been having cramps and that i found brownish stuff in my underwear!.!. did i have it!? and if so how do i tell my mom!.!.!? thxWww@Answer-Health@Com

i believe you did, in the beginning (especially your first time) it can be very brownish, because it's older blood, if you give it a day or two it should pick up, you should definatly tell your mom i did it over the phone cause it happened when she was at work, it's kinda embarrassing but just go up to her and say "mom i think i might have had my period" just make yourself say it you will be SOOOO glad you did!. She'll want to know and may be mad if you don't tell her!. I can garuntee you she will want to help, and get you whatever you need!. Congrats if this turns out to be your period!!!

The first period is usually short and brown in colour!. Throughout your life, all your periods will start off brown and end brown!. Over the next few days, you may start actually bleeding and this is a full on period, and it can last 5-7 days!. You might have finished for this time though, so you will have to wait for the next one!. Until your body is used to periods, you might be very irregular, like when I started I only had them every 3 or 4 months, then after two years I had them every month!. The cramps are also a sign that you have started!. Just make sure you keep sanitary towels or tampons on you at all times just incase!. Just tell your mum upfront that you have started your period, what else can you say!? She is your mum and will support you through this time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like you're going to start soon!.Don't be afraid to tell your mom,she'll help you!.Just say mom,i think i started my period when your alone with her!.You don't need pads or tampons yet,just a pantie liner so your panties don't get stained!.When it starts to get heavy,ask your mom 2 get u some pads(i wouldn't recommend tampons for your 1st period)!.
