Question: My Doctor Said!.!.!.!.!.!.!?!?!?!?!?
Im a 16, almost 17 year old female and have been experiencing some "discomfort" in my right knee for a few months!. It hurts a little when i do activities that involve jumping or bending and they crack when i bend!. My doctor says this is due to my hips widening or something like that!. Im confused!.

Your hips are widening basically in preparation for getting a babies head out of there at some point in the future!.
Your hips are linked to your knees, feet and back!. i!.e!. if something changes in one of them, you can often feel it in the others whilst they adjust to the changes!.
It's a bit like when people hurt their foot, which makes them limp, which can then hurt their hips and back because they're having to move differently and aren't used to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a female transists from childhood to adulthood, her body changes!.
A widening of the hips is simply one of these changes!.
It's just your body getting ready to bare a child (Should you choose to)!.
