Question: Is this normal for your first period!?
My daughter is 11 and started her period last month!. May 5th to be exact!. She still hasn't had her period this month!. Is it normal for her to be this late her second month!? Or even skip this month!? I don't ever remember my period in the beginning to be irregular!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My cycles could go from 25 - 45 days, never knowing when it would come from month to month!.!.!. The doctors never worried, but when I was 26 they started me on birth control, now I'm like clockwork!. I wouldn't worry unless it doesn't come for a couple/few months!. Kids have all sorts of crazy hormones going on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes!. Mine was always irregular!. Sometimes after 30 days, or 35, or 40 or 20!. It was always weird!. My doctor always did all the tests - I was always healthy!. I don't know why I thought I wouldn't be able to get pregnant one day when I was younger, but I had a baby 5 months ago!. So don't worry!.!.!. just take her to see the doctor!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

it lasted for 4 days the first time, the next month lasted 9 days and then the next month i didnt even get it lol
it takes like a year or 2 to become regular!.

It is normal for periods to be irregular in the beginning because the body is still getting used to the changes it is going through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Heck yes it is normal to be irregular!.It is normal for up to the first 2-3 YEARS to be irregular!.Don't worry!.But, if you are seriously unsure, you should take your daughter to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I got my first period at 13, just once, then I didn't get it again until I was 16!.
