just ask her!. ==] telll her pads annoy you, and that you would like to try out tampons!. she will definitly understand!. and i think you should get tampax pearl!. it has a smoooth aplicator and it makes it easy!. you just sit on the toilet with your legs spread a little, and put it in till it hits your fingers then push the little plunger thing then pull it out!. its really easy!. and i used to be reallly scared and it took me like 10 trys to get it in perfectly but once you do, it is amazing!. and it makes it like you arnt even on your period! so just tell your mom and she can help youWww@Answer-Health@Com

i just said to my mom, i hate pads!.!. and she told me i could get tampons!. you could do that,, or mayb when you are at the store, just be like mom i am gonna try these ok!? if she says no tell her, that you are getting a rash from the pads and it is bothering you, so you need something more comfortable!. i would recommend tampax lites for your first time!. cardboard are a little easier the first time, becuz plasic and hurt a little if you are not careful!. but after you get the hang of it i would try something a little bigger like playtex sport regular!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If this is your first period, your mother is just doing what most mom's do!. They give us a pad!. Just tell her you would like to try a tampon and if it doesn't suit you, go back to pads!. I'm sure she'll understand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
