Question: Howcome i get a rash after every period i have!?
Ok, so everytime i have a period, i put on a pad, and about!.!.!. a couple hours later, it hurts!.!.
Its only around the edges where the pad is, but its really weird, because it hurts when i walk, and it stays about untill next time i get my period!.
I change my pad quite a bit, so its not because its dirty, but am i allergic to the pad!? I tried allot of different brands, but idk!.!.
(P!.S, its not an std, im a virgin, i've never even kissed a dude!. And im 14!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pad may be irritating your skin when you walk/move!. Try a lighter pad that's not as thick and get a smaller size and if it doesn't go away maybe you need to start wearing tampons or you can wear boy shorts, that way it doesn't hit your skin!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would speak to your doctor!. They will be very understanding, it could be that you are allergic to the adhesive on the pad, or you could even have thrush which is common in women, and treatable!. Otherwise I am sure that they have pads that are hypoallergenic might be worth trying some

Its like having diaper rash, when i where a pad it does the same thing to me!. try putting baby powder on the pad!. it is the moister that causes the rash!. it will help a lot!. Your old enough to use a tampon, of course talk to your mom/ dad first!. I always wear a pantie liner when i wear a tampon, just b/c i don't want to have a leaking accident!. There are pads for sensitive skin made out of cotton or something like that, i had the same problem 'til i used them!.!. and i went back to the old pads and had it again!.!. so the solution is to use the sensitive skin pads made from cotton u can get (always) brand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i used to have the same problem as you when i used to wear pads and the brand that worked great for me was stay free with the cottony dry cover it feels more like the crotch part of your panties!. good luck and god bless!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
