Question: I can't get my tampon in!!?
I just got period today and i am suposed to go to a pool/beach party tomarrow! this girls house is like 1 block from the beach so we will be in her pool and at the beach!.!.!.anyway!.!. i've been trying to get a tampon in for about 2 hours and have already gone through a full box of tampons with unsuccesful tries!.!. i have been looking forward to this party since January when my friend and i started to plan it! i really need suggestion on why it won't go in !!!! i also need to know how EXACTLY to put it in!.!.!.i did what it says on the package, but it still doesn't go in!.!.!.!.pls help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, you really have to psych yourself out to relax!. You've gotten to a point where you're so frustrated and upset that all of your muscles are tight!. Before you try again, sit and close your eyes!. Relax all your muscles!. Think about each muscle, and relax it!. Take some deep breaths!. If you have some KY lubricant, that would even be better!. Also, if you are a virgin, you need to try slim fit tampons first!. The cardboard applicators are much more difficult to deal with!. The plastic applicators have less resistence and will glide in better!. Remember to go slowly and don't force it!. I'm a mom (my daughter is 18), and am far from being a virgin, but sometimes if I'm upset or not bleeding heavily, I have a hard time, too!. Also remember that you have to get in in far enough that you won't feel it constantly!. That does't mean it has to be all the way in to your cervix, but at least a couple of inches, otherwise you'll be aware of it constantly and it could be uncomfortable!.

this is kinda akward, idk y it wouldnt work, you just put the tampon in and push the end so the cotton part goes all the way in and the string stays out, ask your mom to show you how they work (not on herself or you) but like just how they slide and the cotton part comes out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You need to relax and be wet!. Use any lube if you have it but water can work too!. Use a light plastic applicator!. Slide the pellet part all the way until your fingers that are on the grip touch you labia!. The push the tampon all the way in!. Then remove the plastic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
the tampax pearl go in easy, get the platic not card board applicator!. you need to relax and angle the tampon toward the back!. good luck remember relax!Www@Answer-Health@Com
