I have a brain anyurism, and the docotor suggests this procedure!.The Coil procedure, throught the groin!. Please tell me what is the chance of having a stroke during this procedure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As with any invasive procedure, there is a slight risk of death or illness; however, coil embolization of unruptured aneurysms and fistulas carries less risk than embolization following a stroke!. Approximately 7 percent of cases require additional treatment or surgery!.

Ask the surgeon to put your mind at rest, may be he or she can give a blood thinner beforehand !.good luck!. They do take care of this sort of thing when having operations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
