Question: I just started taking birth control, and my period is still heavy!?
I am taking ortho tri cyclen lo, and i am on the green pills!.!.!.which makes you have your period!. My period is really watered down and heavy!. I am leaking everytime!. it goes straight through heavy tampons after a few hours!.

Birth control pills aren't always the best idea because I heard they can do bad stuff but whatever that's probably just a rumour!. but I suggest wear heavy pads!. those help me!. :) ecspecially wear them at night!! you don't wanna get the bed all bloody!.!.!.i've experienced that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Those pills usually don't make your period lighter- things like Yaz and LoEstrin 24 do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You have to give your body time to adjust and try using both tampons and pads for maximum protection!Www@Answer-Health@Com
yea use both tampons and pads heavy on both, and try giving your body AT LEAST a month to adjust!
