Having just spoken about this with my wife we both conclude that it is,and will be fraught with dangers, misuse and clerical problemsWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are lots of issues which make this a really bad idea!.

It can have adverse side effects for some women, so its use should be monitored by a doctor!.

There may be other things associated with being sexually active that should also be counselled/monitored by a doctor!.

To be fully effective it has to be taken very specifically in accordance with the instructions!. Again, this is best counselled (especially for some people!) by a doctor!.

My wife was an MD in a poor socio-economic area for a while and really spent a lot of time counselling and trying to look after the health of her patients, especially the young girls who were on the pill!. Without this, many would have run into health problems!. By doing this, not only was she able to prevent unwanted teen pregnancies (and babies potentially being born into very poor family situations), but she could also keep a good eye on their health when they came for prescriptions, and at least attempt to counsel them to use condoms to prevent disease etc!.

Doctors aren't silly of course!. They know which women they can simply give a script to after a brief chat, and which women they need to have a serious talk to about how to use it or other health things!.

While the above problems obviously don't apply to all women, if you make it available online, then you make it available to ANYONE without any supervision at all, and it's the poorer groups - who need doctor contact the most - which are going to be the first to try to get it online!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think its sickening personally!. I love the internet, I can get groceries online, music, film, games, news and the list goes on, but the thought of my girlfriend getting any form of meication "apart from those that dont require a perscription"
is a very bad idea!.

When taking stuff like the pill women should and rightly deserve the face to face service from a medical professional or pharmasutical professional, there are side effects, and bad ones at that so women should have to do it properly and go to their chemist!.

Also, what about all the sites that are gonna be spamming mails and ad's for gettin the pill cheap, we all know what happens with crap like that, placebo's and worse!. Well fin some women being mislead and takin frikkin smarties thinkin theyre safe from havin kid's!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A pill containing hormones (or their analogues) that prevent conception!. Contraceptive pills containing steroids are sometimes taken by female athletes to control the menstrual cycle so that menses does not coincide with an important competition!. However, these pills are not popular among most endurance athletes because they can cause nausea, weight increases, and lower maximal oxygen consumption!. I think its a bad idea, no face to face checks and in the end of the day they are not doing it for the good of the patients, its a way of making a quck buckWww@Answer-Health@Com
