Help, panicking! levonelle?!

Question: Help, panicking! levonelle!?
ok, this is soo dumb, but im really panicking, i got some levonelle due to a potential mishap!.!. so should take it soon!.!. but i know i react really oddly to meds & things recently (past 3-5 years due to increasing food intolerances, etc!. which makes me really sensitive to certain things (ie my body even starts making antibodies to cucumbers, etc!.!.)

so i am panicking about how i will react physically/mentally to the levonelle!.!.!. funnily enough i react really badly to the estrogen in my cycle (taking yasmin triggers extreme panic attacks due to estrogen in it!.!. but these anxiety states are relieved by progesterone for some reason (but not by traditional anxiety meds like valium etc!. so i know its hormone related!.!.)

anyway, i used to even take levonelle to control the hormones in my cycle to stop months of anxiety but ironically im nervous about how i will react to levonelle NOW even tho i/my doc used it to control anxiety b4!? should i just chill & take it!?! lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

All you can do is give it a go!. Just relax, stay calm, and see how you go with it!. If you don't feel good with it, you can always switch to a new method!. I deal with some anxiety so I can relate!. Something that really helped me was the phrase "It's only thinking, so don't give it another thought!."

Realising that you have the willpower to control your thoughts and from there your anxiety is a big step!. But sometimes you need some help, so go ahead and try the levonelle and see how you feel!.

Good luck, and let me know how you go! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok levonelle is basically a high dose of levenorgestrel (which u may have taken in a combined pill before)!. The side effects are nausea etc!. If this is really bothering you, then I suggest you go to an NHS walk in clinic and ask for a non hormonal IUD (copper coil) to be fitted!. This can be done up to 5 days after the "mishap", so either do that or HURRY UP and take levonelle, as it has only 72 hours of possible effectiveness!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you are especially sensitive to hormonal changes!. Keep that in mind for the future, during pregnancy and during menopause!. That said: just take the Levonelle, now! The changes, if any, will be temporary!. It has a synthetic progesterone in it, as well as the estrogen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

O!.M!.G how confusing!?
Take the pill to make sure you aint pregnant, id rather deal with the side effects than a baby! next time be carefull!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
