Question: What is this brown fluid in my underwear!?!?!?
Hi, im only 12 and my period started on the 18!. My period was missed last month, if that has anything to do with it!. Im seeing brown fluid in my pads, but i dont see any blood!. its strange and im scared cuz i searched it up and some people say that its STD or something like that!. plz help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The brown stuff you are seeing is still blood, so there's no need to worry about anything!. The reason it's brown is because it's been oxidized longer---it's been out of your body and there's more oxygen in it!. You're at the end of your cycle, it sounds like, and brown blood is usually common around the end of your cycle and maybe even some brown spotting before your next period!.

At your age periods will not always be regular!. You are on day 5 of your period!. Ending with dark stuff is normal as the period is normally 5 days long!. It is usually old blood!. If at 12 you have reason to be exposed to a STD and worry about it you should be scared and go to a doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You're period is just going to come in a couple of days!.!.!. Usually, right before your period your discharge will get a little bit darker brown because the lining is beginning to shed!.
