Is a little bit of brown, clumpy discharge normal?!

Question: Is a little bit of brown, clumpy discharge normal!?
This morning, I accidentally got hit in my groin and after that I felt a little bit of cramping and a some blood so I thought I was on my period since I should be starting soon!. But now, the liner I put on is completely clean and there's a little bit of brown, clumpy discharge that is odorless!. Could I have hurt myself worse than I thought or is it really just my period!?

If it helps, I'm 19 and a virgin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you're about to start your period then I wouldn't worry yet!. Being hit may have just jump-started things and you'll start bleeding normally soon!. If this is the case, the brown clumpy stuff is just the old lining of your uterus that is normally ejected with the blood during your period!. You don't see it as much while on your period due to the more prominent blood!. Likewise, the cramps may have also been your body trying to eject the lining without having the blood to smooth the process!. Kind of like how swallowing without saliva would hurt a bit!.

If, however, you don't start your regular period soon and the discharge seriously starts to worry you, I'd go to a gynecologist and ask her about it!. A lot of it depends on how hard you were hit!. If you were in serious pain when you were hit (ie!. writhing in agony) then you ought to consult your doctor anyway!. But if you don't think you were hit too hard then it probably is just your normal period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
