Answers:
they told me at planned parenthood that its okay as long as its within an hour of the regular time you were supposed to take it!. Like since you were supposed to take it at 8 you can take it as late as 9 or as early as 7!.
but then again my friend also takes hers at different times everyday and she hasnt gotten pregnant yet but i think she uses condoms as an extra precaution!. Call your gyno or doctor and ask them its better to get a reliable source rather than strangers online for this kinda thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The later you are taking it, the less effective it is!. Because the hormone levels are so low in pills now, even a few hours off can make it less effective!. You need to be taking it at the same time every night, or consider a different option for birth control, like the NuvaRing or the Ortho Evra Patch!. Read this article that talks about reasons the pill fails!. It's quite informative: http://www!.foxnews!.com/story/0,2933,3667!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

everyone body is different and some people can take their pill at different times and be protected the general rule is the pill is only effective in the system for 24 hours that's y the suggestion is to take it every day at the same time!.!.!.to be safe u should figure out the right schedule or use back up protection because it is very possible to still get pregnant if u don't follow the directions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they say that you should take it within a 2 hr window each day!. I started taking mine in the evening, like yourself, but every once in a while i'd totally go to bed without taking it!.
So the next pack i would take with breakfast!. this way, if i forget!.!.!.!.i would be asleeep all night!. just a suggestion !

but since then i have gotten the Mirena iud and there is nothing to remember, i love it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are having sex regularly you should really take it at the same time, or within an hour of your prescribed time!. I used to have my alarm set to wake me at the crack of dawn everyday just to take it, and then go back to sleep because I knew then I'd always be home to take it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I NEVER took mine at the same time (sometimes forgetting and having to take 2 at a time) and I never became pregnant accidentally!. Maybe I was just lucky but that is my personal experience!. Had my tubes tied after planned baby #3!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Within one hour before and one hour after your due time is safe!. Anything over or under that I would use something else to be safe!. The safest is to take it at the same time every day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm not sure of the answer, and i used to do this a lot too
but i set my phone alarm for the same time every day!.!.!. it helps me not forget :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

as long as you're within the range of like 2!.!.maybe 3 hours you should be fine
as late as midnight might be pushing it thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think it's probably best to take them at the same time every night although when I was birth control I didn't!. I would say to try to take them at the same time at least!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

nope!.!.!.
you have to take it at the EXACT time you took it day day before
or youll have an EXTREME chance of getting preggers when you have sexWww@Answer-Health@Com

i dont no but im very curious to see the answers alsoWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it's a combined pill then you can take it up to 12 hours late without having to worry - though I always find that I get spotting if I'm more than 4 hours late a couple of days in a row!. I take mine at noon, so that if I forget I'm awake to remember to take it later without being too late!.

If it's a progestrogen-only pill (mini-pill) then you have to take it within 1/2 an hour of your normal time each day to be protected!.

If you want to change to an earlier time just start your next pack at the new time!. Going earlier is fine, taking it later can cause problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
