You and I are in the same boat- sort of!. I also used the depo shot first and then I got on the Nuva Ring!. This is my second month on the nuva ring and so far I have had no problems!. The shot made me gain like 50 lbs so i got off of it cuz it was totally killing me and my moods were horrible!
Also the shot can cause alot of problems for your body such as bone density!. As for your question- your period should come on time but it is not rare for a woman's period to become irregular after being on birth control, in fact it happens in alot of women!. If it's been a while since you've had your period whether you are or aren't on birth control doesn't matter- you should schedule an appt!. with your doctor! You may be having problems with the birth control, you could have just skipped a month, which does happen sometimes, or worst case scenario you could be pregnant!.
Please remember that just because you're on birth control does not guarantee that you won't get pregnant!. So if you've had sexual intercourse before this missed period and it's been a couple weeks since your expected period I would schedule an appt!. with the doc!.
Just some woman-to-woman advice!.
Hope this helps!
:)
P!.S!. The Nuva Ring is good to be on, but if you don't prefer it (wouldn't blame you its a little uncomfortable to "apply") a good alternative would be the patch or the pill!. Remember that with all forms of BC you should still use a condom too! Also neither protects you from STD's so please be safe! Alright, that's all for now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It took about 3/4 months for my period to regulate!.!.!.!.but your results might vary since you got on the ring shortly after!.!.!.!.give it a few months!.!.!.perferably w/o any birth control so your body can get a chance 2 regulate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
