Question: Is it possible to become pregnant, when you miss a pill during your period week!?
I missed a pill during my green pill week, the sugar pill some call it!. I used back up method and was cautious 7 days after missed pill!. Its 12 days later and im cramping bad enough to notice it!. I missed the pill on a wednesday and period ended on that saturday!. So its been 9 days since my period ended!. Is there even a slim chance that i could be pregnant!? Would i really be ovulating this early!? Im about a week early ovulating!.!. What would cause the cramping!? I am 23 and have a 3 yr old daughter so i know what cramps feel like!. But with these cramps i had a dizzy spell, cold sweat!. I didnt feel right!. Also been having heatburn for over 2 months now, but no other symptoms!. Just odd!. Any info, opinions, and advice would be apprecaited! thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No the sugar pill have noo hormones in it, it's exactly the same as not taking the pill for a week!. Most pills infact don't have the sugar pills (well i've been on most pills and none of mine have), so a lot of women go through that 'green pill week' you have without taking anything!. You don't need to use the extra protection as long as you took the actual pills right!.
So let me get this straight, after the 'green pill week' you started the hormone pills as normal yes!? If so (you should of) the pill stops ovulating! So you shouldn't be ovulating unless you've missed any of the hormone pills!? If you have you'll need the extra 7 days of contraception (condoms) for 7 days after that missed pill so your ovaries can turn off again!.
You only need to worry if you miss a pill with hormones in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your taking sugar pills and your on your period your not protected at all! Those pills dont even need to be taken, theyre just so you get into the habit of always taking them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
