Question: So do doctors do hysterectomy for "polycystic ovary syndrome",!?
if the patient is in their mid 40's and doesn't plan to have children!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I also Have PCOS plus Insulin Resitance and Elevated Prolactin Levels, i have no children but have been told that i may not be able to concieve anyway, When i want to try for a baby then i have to inform my endocrinologist and consultant and we have to discuss somethings and medications!
after 12 months of trying i will be given help in the form of IVF etc
if you are in a lot of pain all the time then they would consider going to do a hysterectomy but if you are not in pain then they wont think it neccessary
how many periods do you have in a year, on average!?!?!?

i have about 4 a year!Www@Answer-Health@Com
