Great Someone who has the same condition as me hooray!
i have also got PCOS, Insulin Resitance and Elevated Prolactin Levels
i have been taking Metformin for about 6 months i started on a dose of 500mg twice a day but i had my 6 month check up last week and my dose has been increased to 850mg three times a day!
when i first started taking this medication i got sickness and diarrhoea for about 3 weeks but this soon subsided
you MUST remember to take the tablets with or after foods and i take mine at the same/similiar times of day every day
there is also weight loss involved i lost 13lbs in 6 months which is great lol
you may get a slump in your appetite and increased sleepiness at first but dont worry this all subsides in a few weeks/months
if you would like to talk to someone in the same boat then you can email me on
