Nuva ring?? Side effects..?!
Question: Nuva ring!?!? Side effects!.!.!?
I just got Nuva ring today, have not began using it yet though!. I was just wondering what your side effects were!? Did you get moody!? Weight gain!? Headaches or anything!? Was it a good choice for birth control!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been on Nuva Ring for two (almost three) months now, and all of my side effects pretty much went away after the first month!. Those side effects included!.!.!.
-Bloating
-Headaches (mild)
-Slight increase in vaginal discharge
-Moodiness
By the time I started my second month, all of my side effects were gone!. I have always started my period right on time (the day I take the ring out) and I have minimal cramping during my period week!. I do (still) have some mild headaches around the end of the month, but I think they are due to the decrease in hormones (removal of the ring)!. Basically, the ring has been a perfect choice for me!. It's SO great to have nothing to worry about every day! All I have to remember is to remove the ring after three weeks and put a new one in after the fourth week!. It's so simple! Also, I experienced pretty heavy mid-cycle bleeding while I was on the pill (Mircette/Kariva), and I haven't had that problem at ALL with Nuva Ring!. It is not at all bothersome during sex (for either of us), and I have never had a problem with it "slipping out" at any point (during sex, running, exercise, etc!.)!. I definitely recommend it!

I got psychotic while using it!.!. I was extremely angry all the time, anything could set me off and I was always extremely touchy!. My boobs got bigger too!. That was about it, I used it for a couple years before the psychotic stuff kicked in and it was great because I can never remember to take pills!.

Many women have an increase in vaginal discharge with the ring!. There is a low risk of serious health problems, like blood clots!.
The pros of the Nuva Ring outweigh the cons!. I think you made a good choice!. If you find that you don't like it, you don't have to keep using it!. ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com
