Am I Fat? What is wrong with me?!


Question: Am I Fat!? What is wrong with me!?
Okay!.!.!.I am 13, 122lbs, and 5'2!. I know I am overweight, or getting close to it!. I was weighed 2 months ago on May 6 and the time before that I was 112lbs at Christmas!.That is 10lbs in 6 months! What is wrong with me!? Please don't say that im 13, and that it is normal for me to be concerned, and all that!. I want to know how to loose weight!. All of my friends are 90lbs or under!. Please help!.

Im gonna be honest with you because i know thats what your looking for!. As i was reading your question i felt like it was something that i would have written when i was younger!. I was 11, 5'2, 120 pounds and felt so out of place!.!.!.Im in my early 20's and you wouldn't believe that im the same person!. I actually went up to 163 when i was younger! Give it TIME!. Have you started your menstrual cycle yet!?!? If not then your body is still in your child stages!. If you did get it then let your body do its work!. Your gonna loose the weight and keep it in the right places!. Is it in your jeans to be more on the heavy side then to be extremely slim!? Maybe your body is maturing before your other friends but your hitting high school soon, and i promise when all of them still look like little girls, your gonna be the last one feeling out of place!. Your lucky that we are in the day and age where its beautiful to be thick and its something that some girls wish they could be (seriously)!. I broke out of my baby fat when i hit 14!. I was a size 13-14 and now im a 3!. Just be careful sweet heart if it does run in your jeans!. My body was so stretched when i was younger that when i lost the weight i had stretch marks everywhere!. Thats the only thing that stays once you loose the weight, especially if they are the deep ones!. Like i said, this could be baby fat or your body takin your woman form before the height kicks in!. Dont stress it as much, ok!? Try your best to just dress comfortably!. Dont dress like the girls who are 90 pounds cuz your not them!. Dress to bring out your best assets, and dont ever feel like there is something wrong with you just because you dont look like the other girls!. You young ladies are all still growing and TRUST ME in 5-7 years, half the people now are not gonna look the same!. I know you dont look the same physically, but if anyone ever judges you based on that, you DONT need them!. I promise you that your not gonna need that friendship!. Stay confident ok sweetie!. One thing that I think would be simpler for you to do is while you are eating, stop eating when you have 3-5 bites left of your food!. I don't mean eat all of the food on your plate but 3-5 bites!. I mean just stop 3-5 bites before when you know you will be full!. One other thing to do is stop drinking soda!. If you are a serious soda drinker, just gradually stop drinking soda, and get water instead!. Your body weight and your teeth will be thankful you did!. I personally think that you are a little too young to start a diet and should give this a try first!. If you don't see any results after a few months, maybe you should ask your doctor for some tips!. One thing to remember: dropping weight healthy does not happen quickly!. If you try too hard to drop the weight and loose a lot of weight to soon, you will most likely gain it back!. don't let your little friends discourage you and make you feel bad!. you are young and this is the time when you're body is going to do the most changing!. your weight will probably fluctuate up and down throughout high school you just have to love yourself and you'll hardly notice!.
one thing that will help you if you want to stay at the weight you are is just watch what you eat!.
try to eat healthier!. No or little to no fast food, sweets cut them down a lot, try not to drink too much soda!. instead drink a lot more water!. that'll help flush the bad stuff out!.
you're 13 you're young and should have fun with your life right now!. Don't stress about this too much!. I know it's hard and other teen girls can be really mean, but you are perfect the way you are!.

Even if you're not an athlete you need to be active!! Whether it is swimming or running around with your friends!. Though this is coming from someone who runs cross country and track!.!.A diet is not good!. You're too young and half the time you don't stick true to diets/they don't work!. Just be aware of what you eat!. I personally stopped drinking pop during track season and it feels good to know that pop isn't everything!.!.!. I don't like the taste of it anymore besides a Sprite every once in a while!.

I want to start this off saying that under 90lbs is not healthy at all for a girl over 5 feet tall!. MINIMUM for 5 feet is roughly 100 lbs!. You are COMPLETELY within your normal range!. In fact you're just about perfect!. And gaining weight is part of puberty sweetie!. It's how your body is going to fill out your curves, getting breasts, all of that adds weight!. Take a look at the link below!. But please whatever you do DO NOT try to go under 90 lbs!. Yeah you might be able to fit in to those killer size 0 jeans but it'll effect your life beyond that!. you are not over weight for your height!. your friends may be shorter than you !. Check this out this is a formula that doctors use!.

take your body weight (mass) at kg!. and take you height at m then:

mass(kg) devide by your (height x height) in m the answer should be 22-24

mass/ (height x height) = 22- 24

if the answer is between 22-24 you are in good shape!. this is called a BMH (body mass and height)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hunny i'm 20 going on 21 Monday coming, I'm 5'3 and weigh 146lbs and sexy as ever! when i was in high skool (Grade 12) they told me i was "overweight " too for my height but i wasnt letting that get to me i love my size and shape!.

Diets do work!. Try a healthy one with salads, vegetables and fruits and I promise you it will work!. Your friends are 13 years old and UNDER 90 lbs!? They are severely underweight, that isn't healthy, they need to gain weight!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, no you are not fat!. However, if you are worried, (and not athletic) just watch what you eat!. Don't eat greasy fried foods so often!.
