Most answers are correct!. It cannot prevent your period!. Exploring your own sexuality is absolutely normal!. When I was in that period in my life, parents would say absurdities like "it will make you blind", or "it will make your blood poor", and I see that old absurdities have been replaced by new ones!.

no, actually if you masterbate and or have sex before or right around the time you start your period, it will actually cause it to start due to the contraction of the uterious with an orgasim!. and thats all your period is the shedding of the uterus lining, and when you have a "cramp" its your uterious contracting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No the only thing that can prevent your period is pregnancy, or if you take birth control that allows you to have your period only 3-4 times per year, other than that we as women are stuck with it til menopause!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
