Question: If I take birth control to reduce my heavy periods, would I still get pregnant in the future!?
can you explain to me the whole thing about birth controls!. What do they do and etc!. And I also want to know about sex!. When you are on your periods and you have had sex, would you get get pregnant or is it the only way to get pregnant is not being on your period and having sex!. You can get pregnant if you are on the pill if you take antibiotics, you do have to take extra precautions!. The pill only works if you take it and you can get pregnant in the future as soon as you stop taking it!. Also, if you miss a pill you again must take extra precautions for 7 days to stop you getting pregnant!. The pill doesn't stop you getting any sexually transmitted diseases a condom is best for this!. As for getting pregnant when you are on your period I'm not too sure about but in the medical leaflet inside your pill packet it does advise you to take extra precautions over the 7 day break whist you are on you period!. Take a look at the leaflet inside the packet or contact your family planning clinic to make 100% sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
