i go to the doctor tommorow for my 6 week checkup should i get the 5 year birth control mirena!? whats the side affects im so scared does anyone else have this !?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, i've had it for a month and i love it!. Insertion was painful but that's because my cervix never dilated when i had my baby girl!. (emergent c-section) If you dilated, it won't be so painful!. My doc prescribed me 10 percocet for the crampiness in the few days following!. HOWEVER!.!. wait a while b/c at only 6 wks post partum, your uterus is still going back to normal!. Wait a few months, use condoms faithfully and you should be fine to get it then!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

3!. No weight gain
4!. No periods
5!. No stopping to grab birth control when your in the moment
Cons -
1!. The ONLY negative thing for me, personally, was insertion!. It was pretty uncomfortable that day and for about 24 hours following!. It was like cramps, but 5 times worse!. Once they eased up, it's been fine ever since!. Hopefully others will chime in on this!. I'd like to know if others had alot of discomfort right after insertion also, or if I was just the lucky one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
