its in my groine/lip area & its quite big, it feels like a bruised hernia or something, do you reckon its just cause its hot, or should i get it checked!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd give it a couple of days, if its appeared suddenly its probably not cancer etc, it could well be a heat lump but if that's the case it would probably be itchy!.

My first guess would be a boil (like a pimple but it doesn't have a head)!. It can be quite painful!. If you suspect that it is, try putting a warm compress on it and it might pop that way!. I would keep an eye on it and it never hurts to see a doctor about these things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's a bit far down to be a hernia, I think - more likely a cyst of some kind!. Yes, of course you should get it checked - but try not to worry, I doubt it's anything sinister!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
