i am 13 1/2!. And i haven't got my period yet!. My mum has been saying " oh u will get it soon"!. for like a year now!.

Um, the normal age range is 9-16 [there are exceptions, but this is pretty much the window for opportunnity for that], but everyone is different!. Before I got mine I always wanted it to come sooner and everything [I really wanted it !.!.!.], when I DID get it!? Not fun!. Not at all!. It's not that great!. It's awful, in fact!. I deal with it, though!. It's nothing to want to come sooner, though!. I was freaked out when I first got mine!. >_<
When I get mine:
I'm moody
I'm really sensitive
I don't get cramps much, but when I DO, ugh !.!.!. I get really bad ones!. I'm really thanful they don't continue all through my period, though!. c:
The blood!? So not cool!. Not at all!.
Having to wear a tampon or pad!? A pain!.
I also get acne before my period!. :(

The average age is between 9 and 17!. Ask your mom when she got hers and typically a girls period will start around the same age her mom had hers!. My sister was 14 when she got hers and I started a year and a half ago when I was 16 and my mom was 15 or 16!.

I covered myself with a towel!.!.LOL!.!.

oh please, you really dont want it, i have pains like no tomorrow and i bleed for 7 days, its a pain! and you cant get pregnant if you dont get it but some girls dont get if for ages, i knew a girl that didnt get hers until she was 18 and when she got it she complained everytime she got it, also it does depend on you diet aswell and size and weight, make sure your eating correctlyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well i am 16 and got my period when i was 11 or 12!. My best friend is 16 and she STILL hasn't started her period yet!. Honestly no one can tell when you are going to start it!. Not even doctors!. ITs normal for you not to start it for a while!. What you can do to kinda get an idea is ask how old your mom was when she started!. It usually is about the same as hersWww@Answer-Health@Com
Hey, I'm 13!! Its not like a big party! To tell you the truth I wish I was you!! Period is horable for some people you get cramps,acene, and become very moody! But it depends on the person!. So don't go rushing into things and wishing you started!. I have alot of friends who havn't started!! Just wait I bet you will get it before next year! dont try to rush it cuz you so do not want it and it depends on the girl some girls dont get theirs till their about 17 and some when their 9 i have friends and family who have all gotten theirs at a different age so dont worry besides ur Lucky cuz it is a pain in the neckWww@Answer-Health@Com
