What are symptoms of a yeast infection?!

Question: What are symptoms of a yeast infection!?
For the last few days my female bits have been extremely red, itchy and painful (kind of like a burning feeling)!.!. but there's been no discharge!. This also happened about a month ago but it went away after about a week!. Could this be a yeast infection!? Or something else (If so what!?)!.

Is there any way to make it go away without seeing a doctor!? (there's about a 2 month waiting period to see my regular doctor, and I won't go to another one that I've never been to for things like that!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yeast infections can occur both inside and outside of the vagina!.
You can buy some Vagisil or Monistat cream and just use it on the outside to relief the itching and burning!. I would not use it internally though without consulting your doctor, unless you are positive it is a yeast infection!.
Yeast is always present in the vagina, but too much is what causes an infection!.
Make sure you rinse completely after showering!. Left over soap can also cause irritation down there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like it, but if it continues to bother you going to the Dr!. is a definate must! There are a number of things it could be, you pH could be off balance and causing you some irritation as well!.!.!.!.That's what happened to me!. But if you can't get into the Dr!. try some type of OB/GYN office, that would be your best bet anyways, they are better equipped to determine exactly what the problem may be!. If you thinks it's a yeast infection they do sell medicine over the counter!.!.!.Monistat 3 is a good one!. You insert little egg shaped things into your vagina and they have a cream in them that is supposed to help get rid of the yeast infection!. Try that and go ahead and set up an appointment with your Doctor just in case!. You might want him/her to check you out even if you think it's gone!. Hope I helped!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you refer to "female bits" I assume you are not in the US, but here in the US we have not only treatment, but diagnosis kits available at drug store over the counter!. The most noticeable symptom of a yeast infection is incessant itch!. There may or may not be discharge, odor, redness, but there is always itch -- virtually to the point of being unable to relieve it!. If your drugstore carries anything, look in the female items section for Miconazole (Monistat-Derm, Monistat Vaginal) , Tioconazole (Vagistat Vaginal), Butoconazole (Femstat) or Clotrimazole (Femizole-7, Gyne-Lotrimin) !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it could be a yeast infection without the discharge!. If you're not sure that it IS a yeast infection, it might be worth going to a clinic/Planned Parenthood/a gynecologist to be sure before you try treating it yourself!. You could potentially make your problem worse on accident!. Either way, the link below has many home remedies for treating yeast infections!. Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm no Dr!., but it sounds like that!. The Drs really don't want you to come to them for this if you have tried over the counter products first!. There is Monostat that you can try!. Check with your pharmacist about others that are out there!. If you are unsure and have never had a yeast infection, then you need to see a dr first!. Good luck!! They are seriously noooo fun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like bacterial vaginosis!. the discharge may not always be present!.
vagisil and monistat make a test kit you can find at any commercial pharmacy
all you do is pee and use the kit (color coded) to confirm your
