Any patient had the right to refuse medical treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nobody can make you have a test but I would advise you too!. My sister missed a smear test a few years ago and now she is having problems, she has since had an abnormal test and has been to the hospital for a biopsy!. We now have a 4 week wait to see if she has cancer! cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women under 35!. On average 21 women die of cervical cancer each WEEK in the uk!.
It is a simple test which is uncomfortable but might save your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should really have one, you dont have to be sexualy active to have something wrong, a smear test tests for everything, you can refuse if you want, they cant make you have one, but you really should, it only takes 5 seconds then its all over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you don't have to have one if you don't want one however it's important to have a pelvic exam and pap test even if you arent sexually active at least once!. You probably wouldnt have to have them as often!.!. the PAP that is but its important to check for cervical cancer, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

smear test dont look for sexualy tranmitted disease it looks for abnormal cells as soon as you get your letter for a smear book an appointment and stick to it if theres something wrong down there you would want to know asap, a smear test led to my friend finding out she had problems in the wombWww@Answer-Health@Com

Anybody over the age of 25 automatically gets sent a request for a smear test, even if you're not sexually active, I would advise you to go for the smear test for peace of mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you don't have to go!. However, if you want to make sure you don't have cancer and things like that it's still a good idea to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No but it's always worth going because you don't get cervical cancer ( that's what it checks for) purely from sexual activityWww@Answer-Health@Com

Why possibly put your self at risk whether you have had sex or not surely it must be assuring for a woman to know her cervix is in good conditionWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can refuse, but why oh why would you!. It could save your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course you can, but sexual activity isn't the only reason for having one done!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope it is your bodyWww@Answer-Health@Com

you do not have to go but it would be wise toWww@Answer-Health@Com
