Help me i am scared!!?
i just got my pierd 2 days before my friends pool party!.my mom said to use a tampon!.i have 3 questions!.
is it to early to start useing tampons!?i got my 1st pierd 20 days ago!.
what is the bad things that a tampon can do!?besides Toxic Shock!?
has anyone had something wrong happen to them while useing a tampon!?

Don't ask for horror stories about tampons, you don't want to scare yourself even more!.
As long as you do everything just as the directions tell you to, you will be fine!.
There are a few things you might consider!. If your going to be at the pool party are you going to change it every few hours!?Do you have sensitive skin!? If you have sensitive skin I suggest you read the label and make sure there are no fragrance in them!.
Make sure to use the one with plastic applicator, the cardboard one are no fun!.
Also use the right size for your flow, if you are barely bleeding don't use a large tampon, that would be a little comfortable!.
Make you that you get it in all the way, if you don't it will be very uncomfortable!.
Make sure you don't flush them down the toilet!. Just wrap them up in toilet paper!.
Just a little tip make sure that the string to you tampon is not hanging out of your swimming suit!.
Have a great time at your pool party and try not to let it bother you too much!.
When you get ready for bed make sure you don't sleep in a tampon wear a pad !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it isn't too early to start!. If you are only on your 2nd one, you might want to use a brand called o!.b!. That is what i used when i first started because i play soccer and do swimming! But, if you are too scared, you can just wear a dark swim suit!. That is what i did!. But, it may be better to use a tampon! Hope this helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com
no!. it's not too early!. just make sure you don't have them in too long!. i don't know all of the bad things that a tampon can do besides toxic shock, but i know that i've never worried about it, and i've had my period for a few years anyway, haha!.

1!. No, it';s not too early to start!. The day you have your period then you are ready!.
2!. Toxic shock is it as far as I know!. Just change the tampon as recommended (4 hours) and you will be fine!. TSS is actually quite rare!.
3!. No, nothing bad has happened when using them!.

It's not too early to start using tampons!. You can use them at any time!.
TSS is the only really negative thing that can happen while using tampons, and that's very rare!.

No, I've never had a bad experience!. And it can't get lost up there!. If you're still young, i would recommend "Gentle Glide" tampons!. They're very comfortable to put in!. There are also great directions and a picture diagram to show you how to put it in!. Just make sure you change it every 2-4 hours!. Don't go any later than 5 and wear a pad at night!. It takes some time, but you'll get used to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
tampons are harmless! they only put the health risk on there so be safe! tss is very very very rare! just wash your hands before and after using! make sure the string is always hanging from the tampon thats your only thing u shud b concerend about!

it's not too early, but you might have a hard time using one!. you could try it before the party!.

i dont think it would be a bad thing
i would say to try it before the party
because it might need some "getting used to"
just make sure you use it the right way

really!. i would say tampons cause lots of pain!. my friend had the same problem!. she didn't use tampons though!. she used pads!. they worked nicely, i wouldn't say to do this but, my friend had to use the bathroom quite often because she was so paranoidWww@Answer-Health@Com
I think you should try it but if it gets too uncomfortable, then don't use it and stay out of the water!. Just remember to take it out and change your tampon every couple of hours!. Good luck and have fun !Www@Answer-Health@Com
