Toxic Shock Syndrome is very rare so don't be too worried about it, just make sure you change your tampon every 4-8 hours!. O!.B!. tampons are a lot smaller than regular tampons so as an 11 year old you can use them!. These tampons were made for people like you that are just starting to use tampons!. I think you should use tampons because they are much better than pads!. Just make sure that when you put it in you put it in on an angle!.

yes it's too big, usually your first few cycles should be light and you will find it painful to insert and remove the tampon!. If you do not use the correct size and absorbent level of a tampon you leave yourself open to developing TSSWww@Answer-Health@Com
If your periods are really heavy, I say use what works!. I don't think there is a tampon that is too big!. Use plastic tampons instead of cardboard if it's your 1st time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
