Is it likely that I would skip a period from birth control?!

Question: Is it likely that I would skip a period from birth control!?
I just finished my first pack of Yaz pills, and I'm a little concerned because I haven't had my first on-Pill period yet!. My boyfriend and I took precautions and waited a good two and a half weeks before unprotected sex, which is what my doctor told me, and I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms, but I'm still a little worried!. I should have started last weekend!. (By my counting at least, however, I HAVE had irregular periods in the past!.!.!. It's not unusual for me to be a few days early OR late!.) I've heard the pill can make you skip it - but would it be this soon!?

I didn't wait to start the pill on my next period (which would have been this one) because I had just finished my last period two days before my gyno appt, so I was a Sunday starter (my appt!. was on a Friday)!.

I really don't THINK that I'm pregnant - again, no symptoms - but since I've never been on BC before and I'd also never had unprotected sex before, I'm understandably a little nervous!. Can anyone help me out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
When starting or stopping BC pills, it's quite common for periods be be a little late or absent in the first few months!. Don't worry!. Your body isn't used to the hormones yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
