okay i am going to oahu for a vacation but i'm terrified about getting me period when i get there!. Also, i am going with my grandma, my dad and a GUY friend!. there's a pool at the hotel with crystal clear water, and the water park is also a problem!. i usually luckk out when it comes to this but this time idk!. unless i get it TODAY i'm screwed!. my mom died when i was like 5 and live with my dad so you see how this is weird!. i am self-conscience aout this!. even with girls! i am kind of scared of tampons so WHAT do i do!? would one last through a poool or a giant water park slide!? wouldn't it like!.!.!.!. LEAK!? i don't know what to do! btw i'm 14 i had it for 1 1/2 years but still don't like the idea of tampons!. DXWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm fourteen, and the idea of tampons freaked me out until I tried a small plastic one!.!.!.the first one is a teeney bit uncomfortable but after that it's easy as pie and you never feel it!!

hi girl! well dont do tampons it might irritate your vagina!.!. but for me its ok if you ahve it while on vacation dont think its too bad having it while your on vacation you can still swim on the pool of the hotel only not to stay out of the pool longer so your period might mess up!.!. just do what you have to do and trust the feminine pads it wont let you down just check it every frequently!.!.!.ok!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tampons are really your only option unless you want to spend the whole time out of the pool!. Buy a lower absorbency with an applicator, and read through the instructions first!. It's not scary if you know what you're doing!. If it's uncomfortable, you probably didn't get it in right, so take it out and try a new one!. They shouldn't leak in the pool--just make sure to change them regularly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You will be ok, stop worrying!. If you have never used tampons before they can be a little painful to insert at first, just use a little vaseline as lubrication!. Remember to push it high up, or you wont be able to walk properly, lol, and try to relax when inserting, tensing up makes it harder!. Dont leave it in all day, make sure you change regularly, and you will be fine!. Swim away, dive, wear your skinniest Bikini, and most of all enjoy yourself!. u have no choice but to use a tampon or hope that the blood will flow backward haha thats a funny word flow!.!.!. not a funny thing however!.!.!. ik its scarry but i had to use one when i started and i was in the 5 grd it was scary just know the first time it herts but it worth it use playtex gentle glide they feel the best start with the smallest size possible and no thats what i thought to that they would leak cuz water would get to it but it deosn't trust me i and other girls have for years swam and even danced u wanna talk about challenging i promise u dont even feel it once its in if u have any more questions e mail me cuz i had a simialar sitch and i wouldnt got through it without my mom i even had to explain the whole thing to a girl once b4 im comfortable with it so nbWww@Answer-Health@Com
