Question: All my friends have had their period and i havent!!?
im 13 and iv heard most people have their period before their 13!
all but one (shes very undeveloped) of my pretty good friends have had their periods and i havent! iv gotten breasts within the past year and a half and im otherwise pretty far along in puberty
my friends make jokes about me not having had it yet and it makes me feel really uncomfortable but im scared to confront them about it!.!.!. most of my friends are supportive but not all of them (the ones that make the jokes)
please help im stressing out!.!.!.

100 years ago, most girls didn't get their periods until 16 or so, and it still is common to see 14, 15 or 16 today!.!.!. Better nutrition and medical care is what keeps making the age younger, but 13 or older is not uncommon at all!.!.!.
Also, breast development and the rest of puberty seem to have almost nothing to do with each other, so don't be fooled by your Lovely Lady Lumps!. A better indicator is the arrival of a thick whitish discharge from your vagina!. This usually happens a few months to a year before your periods start!. Even that can fool ya sometimes though!.!.!.
If they tease you, remember they are probably jealous since you don't have to worry about cramps yet either!.!.!. After all, until you're ready to have kids, what good does your period do you anyway!?

im sorry to hear that but all girls are diffrent dont try to rush it jut wait and be prepared it takes a couple years after you hit puberty before you get your period!. stand up for yourself and tell your friends that every girls bodys diffrent and that your time will come you just have to be paitentWww@Answer-Health@Com
Don't stress over this!. Every female is different!. some girls don't get it till they are 15 yrs old!. some as early as 9 yrs old!. As long as you are healthy it will happen!. Females who run too much that are very very thin due to too much excercise will have irregular periods!. You are at the age due for a first physical anyway!. girl i know just where you are! when i was 13, all my friends had their periods too (except for one friend ) they would always talk about it in front of me!.!.!.cramps, tampons, how i was/wasn't lucky to not have it yet!. regardless, i felt left out, like i was missing something and like i should have my period by now! but when i was 13, i didn't have boobs or anything!. your friends should not be making jokes like that !.!.!. just brush it off if you can!. every single person develops at a different rate then everyone else!. you will get your period, and probably quite soon if you have boobs and are pretty far along otherwise!. but try not to stress!. really!. i know it's hard !. when i was 13, i was always wondering when i would get it and was just plain sick of waiting!. but you will get it!. i was 14 when i got mine and i'm 16 now!. my friend got hers when she was (she still is) 15!. i know other people who were 11!. it's alright!.!.!.hang on there girl! it's not too long!Www@Answer-Health@Com
