It's perfectly safe and normal to have sex while you are menstruating!.
Some women are "squeamish" about it, but if you and your partner are okay with it, and you don't mind having maybe a little bit of a mess on your hands, go for it!. My husband have sex during my period all the time!. Some women even think it feels better while they are menstruating due to elevated hormone levels!.
EDIT: The answer above me IS correct about you being more prone to STIs while you are menstruating, however, you are probably not going to be having sex with someone on your period unless you know and trust them and are probably in a long-term relationship with!. it is safe to have sex on your period!. for most girls, this is not her most fertile time so chances of getting pregnant on your period are extremely low (but of course there is always a chance of pregnancy right!?)
however, apparently having unprotected sex on your period might cause an infection (i've read questions on here and some say this, i do not, however know if its true or not)

That's when my sex drive is highest, and my boyfriend and I are more than comfortable with each other so we do it sometimes!.

against pregnancy it isnt safe,less likely but still possible,but its perfectly healthy to have sex on your period,and i find im alot more in the mood when im on!.make sure you use a towl tho LOL

its perfectly fine to have sex on your period!. it'd just be messy!. so maybe go for it in the shower or put towels under you on the bed!. but remember you can still get preggo while on your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
