Breast implant questions?!

Question: Breast implant questions!?
I'm 18 and I am a 34AA!. I am very self conscious about this and don't like the way I look!. After heavy consideration, I am planning on getting breast implants after I graduate college to ensure that my breasts have stopped growing!.

I'm looking to become a regular B cup, so as to not look fake!. This is really just so I don't feel so flat chested, not so I can "wow" people with my huge breasts!.

I just have a few questions!.!.!.
Average cost!?
Well known doctors who have great reputations!?
Saline or silicone!?
What are "tear drop" implants!? Are they better than normal implants!?
What is the best insertion method!?
Were your scars bad!?
How long was the recovery time!?
Do you feel that it was worth it!?

Thanks :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi doll, your best bet is to set up a few consultations with plastic surgeons in your area!. They will be more capable of answering your questions and determining the best implants and incisions to achieve the results you want!.

Setting up multiple consultations with different surgeons will allow you to get different prespectives and find a qualified surgeon that you are comfortable with!.

It's hard to recommend a surgeons because I don't know where you are located!.

I encourage you to visit http://www!.locateadoc!.com/gallery!.cfm/Ac!.!.!.
it has before and after photos, as well as, surgeon information!.

-The average cost is about $5000!.
-I personally have saline implants, they have less health risks if reputured and are less costly!. A lot of people worry about inplants feeling natural (silicone is suposed to feel more natural) but as long as salines are not over filled and you choose the proprt sized implants, there won't be a problem!.
So obviously I recommend saline!.
-I have oval shaped salines (not tear drop)!. I've have heard about tear drop inplants having placement problems (like turning or filping while inside the body and having to be adjusted)!. My surgeon told me oval is best, it give a natural breast shape and doesn't cause a side boob!. A surgeon will be able to tell you what the best inplant shape for you is!.
-I had under the nipple incision (at the bottom of the aerola)!. I like it because the scars are camoflauged!. I haven't expierenced a loss of sensation!.
-The scars aren't bad at all!. Even a few weeks after the surgery I didn't notice them!. Within a year I couldn't see them unless I looked for them!. Using Vitamin e oil helps reduce scars and then once a few months have passed (about 3) put some scarzone w/ aloe scar cream on the scars!.
-The first week I was pretty much confined to bed rest!. But after that I started being able to do more!. It takes about three weeks to get back to all normal activities!.
-It was worth it! I went from a 32A to a 32C, and I love them!.

Your best bet for information is from surgeons or people who have had the procedure!.

You can have breast examinations and mamograms (they just have to be performed with special care)!.

Do alot of research online, read some of the horror stories, arm yourself with information!.

Most of the risks have a minimal chance of happening!.

Only you can answer those questions!. Start by going online and researching the subject thoroughly!. The more you know about this the better you can make an informed decision!. Speak with people who have had the procedure but just remember that your experience will be different, because everyone reacts differently to any situation!. Good Luck!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One thing you should consider in your list of questions is the long term consequences for your health!. I'm not saying this to make it sound like breast implants are super horrible or that you should not get them!. It sounds like this will be a big boon to your self esteem and so in that case, the benefits outweighs the risks!.

What I was referring to was the effect that breast implants have on the sensitivity of mammography as a screening tool!. Generally speaking, it was my understanding that breast implants decreases the sensitivity and specificity in part because damage done (very small but any time you disrupt tissue this can happen) at the time of the surgery can cause calcium deposits to form and this can give something called a false positive on the mammogram!.

A few years ago, I was looking into a procedure called (believe it or not, this is its name) the BAMBI procedure(Breast Augmentation and Mammoplasty by Injection) !. Essentially, they are able to removal fat from other areas of your body, process it, and inject it into your breast tissue, thereby increasing the mass!. I am not sure what the long term results are-you would have to look into this more if you were interested!. But I do recall reading that in the long run, the likelihood of calcium deposits mucking up the mammogram for me was a deal breaker!. Again, doesn't mean that its not something that is safe and reasonable to do, just wanted to make sure that you are asking all of the questions that may be relevant to know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
