Depo Provera?!
Question: Depo Provera!?
I have been on the depo shot for about 4 years now!. Has anyone gained weight on the shot!? If so, when you got off of it did the extra weight go away!? I have gained some weight but not sure if it is directly related to the shot, and if it is, will getting off of it make the weight go away or not!. Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was on depo for a year gained 20 lbs, i still have the weight but im slowly losing it, excerise a lot ,but one of my friends was on it for 3 yrs!. and she gained like 75 lbs!. she was pushing 200lbs!. she finally lost the weight 2 years later but she used weight watcher!.!.!.!. i think if you just exercise, eat healthy u can do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have not personally been on that birth control or any at all!.!.!.!. but I have had some friends that have been on depo!.!.!. one gained weight like crazy and the other one did not!.!.!. So I guess it depends on the individual!.!.!.!.!. My friend that gained all the weight!.!.!.!.!. has not lost any weight since she last took the shot like a year ago!.!.!.!. but she has not tryed to either!.!.!.!.!. A friend of mine gained a ton of weight while on it!. Some of it went away after she switched birth control methods, but not all of it!. Everyone is different though!.!.!.!.its a matter of finding which type of birth control is right for you!. There is no definite answerWww@Answer-Health@Com
I've never had that shot but read about its side effects!.!.!. weight gain was one of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
