Yes endometriosis can cause an abnormal papsmear!. My mom's papsmear came back abnormal!.!.!. and it turned out it was just because her endometriosis has returned!. It's really nothing to worry about!.
I'm not sure the % of papsmears that come back cervical cancer positive!.!.!.!.!. it all depends!. There really is not set rate because it's each individual person who gets one, and has cervical cancer!. I don't think your papsmear came back abnormal because you have cervical cancer!. It is very common in women, but if you have endometriosis, that is most likely the cause!. If you have cervical cancer- you will not die unless you neglect having it treated!. My sisteris 21!.!.!. and she's had cervical cancer ever since she got pregnant at age 17!.!.!.!. I think she's actually had it since age 15!. She actually doesn't get it checked out or treated because she odesn't have the money!.!.!. so you rally have nothing to worry about if you do have cervical cancer!.
I think you will be fine and you really have nothing to worry about!. Good luck when you find out why your resluts came back abnormal!.!.!.!.!.
I hope I could help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've never heard of endometriosis causing an abnormal pap!. However, if you have sexual intercourse within a day or two of your pap, that CAN cause it to be abnormal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
