Depo shot question?!

Question: Depo shot question!?
A few years ago I was on Cerazette (only for a short period) and it caused me to bleed at random times, so I stopped taking it!. Do you think that the depo shot will cause the same thing because of what I experienced with the mini-Pill!? I don't want continuous or random bleeding for three months or more! Thanks for your help in advance!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had depo injection for 18 months with constant spotting and painful periods!. everyone's different and they usually say to give it a year for it to settle!. i went back to the pill but due to migraines i had the mirena coil fitted!. i had it put in in february and it was agony at the time but was over quickly, now i dont get periods!. i just get spotting for a week every two months!. have a look at all the options, all the information is available!. ask at your gp or your local clinic!. they'll have leaflets listing different contraception methods and possible side effects of each!. have you tried different pill types!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think the depo will stop your bleeding completely or at least it did mine!. Reminder: the doctor says its very hard to get pregnant after the depo!. So if you want kids within 10 years I wouldn't get on that thing!. I have been off the depo for 5 years and still cant get pregnant and my periods are all screwed up since I came off!. But it definitely stopped my period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had this because I was bleeding all the time (nearly every day) and I too gained weight, went moody, lost my sex drive and felt depressed!. The problem is once it goes in there is nothing they can do to take it out or counteract it's effects!. Also it can stay in your body for quite a long time which would be difficult if you decided you want to try for a baby!.
My advice - don't get it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably not, the depo shot works differently to the pill in that it usually doesn't cause changes with the ovulation cycle but instead builds up a plug at your cervix to block entry of semen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've never had this (you can't be over 150 lbs or it won't work) but i've heard that it does cause alot of spotting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
