Questions about the Birth Control Pill? :)?!

Question: Questions about the Birth Control Pill!? :)!?
I'm 20 yrs old, Ive never taken the birth control pill and I would like to start!. I am moving in a two weeks to a new state, and am curious how I should go about getting it!.

I dont have insurance, and Im curious how much it costs, laws and whatnot for new state citizens!. (Moving to Wisconsin)!.

I was also curious how well it seems to work and if additional protection is recommended to use along-side it, if there are side effects, and what I can expect from a dr visit!.!.!. I've never visited a Gyno and am a little scared!.

Basically, some overall information on the pill :) I have checked online, but there are so many different types, its a bit overwhelming and confusing, and Id like to be prepared before I leave!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best bet is to see a gyno like the others have suggested!. At the appt they will perform a pelvic exam and make sure things are ok!. You can talk to this doctor about going on the pill!. You can talk with him/her about what one is right for you!. They can write a prescription and then you start it the next time you get your period!. I cant say one pill will be best for you!. They all have the same goal, to prevent pregnancy, but they all work differently!. The first pill you try may work great, or you may have to try a few different kinds!. I went thru 3 different brands, and in the end went back to the first one i was on as it worked best for me!. But give them 2-3 months before switching (unless you have bad side effects) cause it takes a few cycles for things to settle down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Generally, birth control pill tells your body you're pregnant so that it will stop producing your eggs and start preparing your body for lactation!. So if your purpose if just for birth control any pill is ok!. However, at least ONE visit to a gyno will really help you!.
And just like every add on pill tells you, the pill won't safeguard you from stds that's why that gyno visit is recomended!. If you're embarassed, a woman gyno are around!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, you need to see a gynecologist, just for sound health practices!. Next, there are always side effects!. It just depends on how your body reacts and how well you can tolerate them!. You may need to try several different pills before you find the right one!. You still need to use condoms to prevent STD's!. The pill doesn't help with that!. If you are uninsured, try the local planned parenthood office and health department!. Most states have programs to get you free birth control and a certain amount of health care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you have free health clinics!? If so ,go to one and they will help you out and explain everything to youWww@Answer-Health@Com
